On my way home last night I realized that the best dessert on the planet is only a stones throw away for most people.... it isn't in Paris or some fancy restaurant. It is plain yet beautiful.......

The McDonalds vanilla milkshake containing roughly 1,500 calories....

I understand the love for the milkshake and meant no disrespect towards it. Because like you I enjoy them. :) It's just not fair to put it up next to strawberry cheesecake. In my opinion anyways. However I eat so little sweets now I can't even remember the last time I had a dessert. :(

Not a big fan of cheesecake and like you, my sweet consumption is way down. However, last night I needed a milkshake. Storing up some calories for an athletic event tomorrow. :) At least that is how I rationalized the milkshake.

Strawberries dipped in whipped cream and dunked in brown sugar are fantastic! I also like to pick blackberries and dipped them in warm chocolate then let them dry up hard. Man thsoe are great.

It makes me sad that a milkshake could be you favorite desert I mean they are great don't get me wrong but can't be the best!

    Sweet potato pie... Awesome

Any good ol fashion cobbler (cherry for me or peach) with a big scoop of blue bell homemade vanilla ice cream on top, goodness gracious that's good

My grandpa used to make this sweet potato cake that is the best thing I have ever had and probably ever will have but he passed and nobody has attempted it since, maybe I will one day but I can't even describe how great it was fresh out of the oven with a big glass of milk Lordy mercy
