I am getting annoyed when using tapatalk when somebody posts a picture in photobucket. Then to make the picture larger I have to click on it and it takes me out of tapatalk into my web browser to view the picture. Then go back into tapatalk to continue on.

Is there something else I can do or does it do this for everybody? Does tapatalk 2 fix this or do I need a photobucket app to make viewing easier?

Photobucket changed their IMG codes to be bracketed with their URL. Sneaky way to "drive" traffic to their site and up the counts they can show their advertisers :busted:

People would have to edit out the URL part of the code when they make the post. Should work like this:

    Including url:

Edited (shouldn't take you to their site):

Dang I wondered why the codes got long. So i can take out the url and that wouldnt happen? That seems like a lot of work.

When I click on the URL included pic my tapatalk doesn't take me to there site. It works just like the other on my phone. I have tapatalk 2 though so idk if that makes a difference or not.

Another way to do it is to cpoy the "Email" link from photobucket, which is just the url. Then use the insert photo icon in the reply box. click the URL tab, paste the address and uncheck the box that says "Retrieve remote file & reference locally"

Clicking embedded Photobucket photos doesn't take me to their site like it does through the browser version of the forum. This is using Tapatalk 4.

You should be able to set Tapatalk to open links in the application. I don't know if that would solve the photo issue or not.

I always take out the URL part of the IMG tag when I embed an image in a post.
