I havent shot a bow since I was a kid, but I want to get back into archery hunting. I found one of these bows on CL with a few extras for $200. I'm looking for an expert advice :)

Anything I should check on the bows while looking for one?

Im new to bow hunting as well but ive been told the two most important things to look at are axle to axle length , this helps with how manuverable the bow is , if your going to hunt from a tree stand you may like the bow to have a shorter axle to axle length around 30'' , keeping in mind long shots are harder with a shorter bow, or so ive heard , next thing is check out your local pro shop because if you think about it you, buying a 200 bow off of CL comes with some inherint risk. You might as well just buy new, the initial investment will be higher but the payoff much greater. Otherwise i have a hoyt Striker i can sell you for 100 tyd.(lol)

I had a PSE Thunderflite when I was 15 years old. That was 21 years ago. I wouldn't pay $200 for that bow. I wouldn't pay $10 for that bow. You can find inexpensive bow sets (Bear, Quest, Parker, for instance) for as little as $300-$400. And they are brand new. That's your best route...IMO.
