    We were looking at the Honda CRV, Ford Edge, Ford Escape, and Chevy Equinox. The wife liked the Escape the best.

    We just got a Pilot, I'm a fan. But in admittance we traded my high milage truck and I'm cruising around ~30 mpg in our Altima currently. So i don't have much room to judge you Brad.

    I agree. Too many insecurities regarding the vehicle one drives (although I do know most of the comments and Brad's OP are in good fun).

    If you are happy, your wife is happy, and it makes financial sense, go for it! Sure makes more sense than driving around in a jacked up 1/2 or 3/4 ton that hasn't hauled a load in the bed its whole life like more of the "manly" men around where I live. Honda's are great vehicles from what I've read and heard from others.
