It's weird for certain. Thanks for the reply, I don't know what it is but my guess is something with getting the image uploader working again and that image are the culprit. That's the only image that comes up and only started when it was posted.

At first it was confusing me because I was in the live from the stand thread and thought someone was posting and deleting a kill, then sometimes on a good swipe it would pop up and stay up for a second or two and I realized where the image came from. Its hard to do it, but as you can see from the screenshots I was able to capture it has that same soft fade to white.

Cls, mine does it occasionally with Justin's pic too. Hangs out at the top for a second and then disappears.

    Galaxy S8.

The bottom of the picture was edited that way - it's the background of the site and fades into white at the bottom. I was just using that photo as a test since it was sitting on my desktop at the time.

The issue seems to only be with certain Android phones. I'll have a developer look into it tomorrow and see if we can figure it out. In the meantime you can always use Tapatalk or the Bowhunting.com Forum App instead of the mobile site.

The site still works fine for me, just a lingering nuisance that's well a nuisance.

If nothing becomes of it on your developers end, I would ask that yoy delete said post and see if something still exists for us.

Seems weird that the site/forum was down for awhile, once back up the image uploader was a bit out of wack and then once fixed an issue arised for some users.

My initial try was to delete the thread, but it isn't an option for members to delete their own posts, so I asked about it.

In the end, if nothing is figured out to the how's or why's, I'd love to see what happens if that image and/or post is deleted. It was made when a glitch was fixed so maybe created a separate glitch for some.

Also to add, I use desktop version on my phone yet it still wasn't an issue before I created this thread.

I'll confirm the issue does not exist using Tapatalk.

The image you're posting is the background image seen on a desktop computer - it has nothing to do with the attachment I uploaded. It's on every page of the forum at all times, however it's not displaying properly on your mobile device for some reason. Hence the reason it's sticking to the top of your navigation bar when you scroll.

We moved the entire Forum to a new hosting provider the other day and had to reconfigure some stuff on the new server to get the image attachments sorted out.

Can you delete your post with it for chits and giggles? Or, change the image uploaded to see if a new one appears.

Guessing you changed hosts the day of this thread and the issues came to light. First the file uploading then the image overlay that some of us see.

Site was down for a while, then once back up, file uploading was affected. After file uploading was corrected this issue popped up for 2-3 of us thus far. 2 confirmed Galaxy S8's.

So it is back to this post.

I have looked for this image posted elsewhere, but could not find it using desktop version on mobile device.

Just weird only certain devices are affected but so be it, has to be the switch made.

I can deal with it, a bit annoying but not a deal killer.

    Thanks Justin,
