That's what I understand, now that I learned that was his best game ever as a pro. LOL... If you have him for VP, you got's my vote Vito. !
A win is a win is a win is a win. TEBOW TIME BABY! As I have always said it may not be pretty but he has the desire to win and to fuel his teammates to want to win too. For what he has been given this season he has earned and played hard for. Tebow haters crack me up. You know you want to like him but you hate him cause he gets so much attention and is a good person. I can't wait for this weeks game against NE they have beat us once so it will be interesting.
Aww man...I guess the secret is out. I hate good people. I thought for a minute I was just giving my opinion on the performance of a football player, but nope, I just hate good people.
To those who say the receivers won this game because they were so open. Lets not forget that these receivers were open because the steelers spent the whole game trying to contain tebow from running the ball. Not a huge tebow fan ,but do believe they win because he is in the game.
Vito he wins games how is his performance horrible? I don't care what stats somebody is putting up as long as they get the win. Heart can and will trump talent at times and Tim is a prime example. You still get my Vote for Pres and Tebow for Vice
First, thanks for the support. Second, I personally don't think he's horrible. Nor do I think he's great. Here's the thing with Timmy...the more people say how great he is (one extreme), the more people will say how horrible he is (other extreme). Thats how lovers and haters work. It can be applied to any subject. Since one secret is already out, here's another. My "hate" for Timmy is only on this forum. It started back when Florida Marine would take everything I said seriously, and go on comedy filled, threatening rants. It provided some entertainment. Then it caused others to get all worked up. Since then, it just kind of stuck. I embraced the role of the villain.
I'm with ya Vito no worries. You keep me entertained but your still not getting my cell number for photo exchanges (unless your Tebowing lol)
7 for 10 is a pretty good record. They can't all be luck. Tebow is the first one to give his team on both sides of the ball credit, he accepts none. I bet NE is going to take the Broncos seriously. He lives what he believes and I give him all kinds of respect for that.
Here it is, plain and simple.....the QB will always get credit for a win and credit for a loss....that's just how it is. A QB has ONE goal, and that is to help his team win....pretty/ugly great stats/horrible stats....all that matters is if he gets a W or an L. Is Tebow an elite accurate passer....no, is he going to lead the league in passing yards, TD's, or completion percentage...no. As long as he wins that doesn't matter, if that stops and he starts loosing more games than he wins then you look elsewhere. Fact is that he has helped his team get to where they are, he IS a part of it but not the only part. As neither a rabbit or hater it cracks me up to see people on the extreme sides try to discredit each other.
Timmy beat a team which finished the season with a winning record for the FIRST time this year...tells ya how soft the schedule was during thier run of wins. I don't expect that trend to continue against a healthy and explosive Patriots team next week...going to be quite lop sided I would expect when the Pats put up about 40 points.
Of course football is a TEAM sport. The cool thing is everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Tim has some pretty glaring/blaring weaknesses but he also has some pretty hard to argue with strengths. Big, strong, fast, good scrambler, vision down field and the ability to get the ball in the general area of an open receiver... at least some of the time. There was once a Super Bowl winning quarterback named Jim Plunkett, (I am showing my age) who played for the Raiders who probably had an even lower completion percentage than Tebow but he won the Superbowl with "Hail Maries." Timmy is surrounded by a Team that believes in him... they block for him, they catch for him and the defense tackles for him. He's not the most talented player I have ever seen, not the worst either but he shows up and brings his C+ game every week such as it is, sticks his head in there and gives it his absolute all. I'll take that kind of effort any day.
Im gonna lmao if they upset the Patriots.. I know I will be watching no matter, He's just interesting period, a good kid and great competitor. I am most impressed with how well he handles all the critics and the adversity he's been through this season.. Mr. Brady may give him a lesson or two in passing the ball next weekend though. If Denver can protect the football and not turn it over.. they have a chance.
You know just as well as I do that certain coaches or players can fuel the will to win much more than others. Compare this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIn17ufE7ZM To this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-qodBTlMtA&feature=related Which would get you more fired up as a player?
