Dogs will find pot in the vehicle, but what I was getting as is what happens if there is not pot in the vehicle but the driver is clearly high on something. If there is a way to measure the amount of THC in someones system I cant imagine it being able to be done easily on the side of the road. There for the legal amount of pot you can smoke legally is zero.

The less power they have the better, I give that a :tu:

Just my opinion, but I dont freak out when people say they want pot to be legal.. to each their own.
Its now time for me to head to the woods :woot:

They can tell the concentration of THC. Add that with failing the standardized field sobriety tests along with with the bad driving observations and you have a DUID conviction.

The stoner argument can be thrown right out the window. I don't smoke weed, and think it should be legal.

Health wise, abusing cigarettes or alcohol is much worse than weed. The main reason is quantity. I know people that smoke a few packs a day....ever met someone who burns down 20-60 whole blunts daily?! Lol

You go to jail for failed sobriety tests,...with or without a breathalyzer. So nothing would change on that front, although I do suspect weed impairment would be much harder to make stick in court than DUIs which are already relatively easy enough to get out of in many cases sadly.

I was kind of kidding about the pot sniffing dogs:)

My point is if they legalize it there will be enough demand that someone will invent something to check if people are high or not.

I've known a few burn outs in my day that smoked weed from the time they got up till the time they passed out. Not always smoking bout always stoned. Cigaretts were not I tented to be smoked all day long but that's where they are today. They make them milder for that reason. Try smoking 20-60 nice cigars a day. Can't do it because the tobacco is of higher quality.

Yep, it would be a race to see who could invent it first, because whoever did, would be set once they sign the gov't contract.

It's basically legal in CO, and everyone seems to be happy there.
