That is what i was thinking. I could live with smoke smell for a night or two if she was hot. Kinda like crackers in the the bed right? Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
There is hope for me !! I have never walked back to the truck for a pack of smokes if I ran out or forgot them. Never had the urge to chew. There are more people in my area that chew then smoke. Smoking is on the decline where chewing seems to be getting more popular. Tim
There weren't a lot of girls/women that smoked when I was in my late teens and early 20's. The ones that did smoke, I wouldn't have wanted to poke. I use to drink a lot then and that still didn't change anything. Course I never had to wait for last call before picking out my date for the rest of the evening. Tim
Those are already legal in several states. Good point! We don't need to go down the road of outlawing all sins, those are personal choices each person should make and are what helps shape us into the men we are.
Idk if its taboo or not, but I'm in the corps so if you don't smoke, you probably chew, don't see much of the civilian life. I know all tobacco use is really bad for you, I hear it from the dental corpsman's every time I tell them I dip, you would think I shot their mother from the look they give me. I'm with trev on this one though, regulate it and let everyone make their own decisions. That's what made America great right? The choice to do whatever the hell we want!
Yeah Tim, we are pretty much in the same boat. You want to quit Mt. Dew and smoking, and I wanted to quit Mt. Dew and chewing. I have quit the Dew, now it's time to focus on the chewing. I will probably have to wait until after the season though, I would go insane in the stand without some Copenhagen.
Maybe. I know it's not looked at as cool like it used to. I look at young people smoking dumb for wasting money on and nasty product trying to look cool. Many of them you can see they are not quite hooked on them yet and are still having to force themselves to act like they're enjoying it. Older people smoking just makes me think they just reply don't give a damn about themselves or their family. Blacks! That's so funny. When I was a kid you never see a black person smoking because that was a white thinking and they wouldn't touch those nasty things. It's still strange to see a black person smoking today. To me it shows the power of advertising. Cigarettes were meant to be smoked after a nice meal with friends in place of a cigar but they were never meant to be chain smoked all day long. Much like sodas, candies, coffee etc. you can't just consume this junk all day long because some hired actor put on an act tell you to. It's ok if Obama smokes though
Not a fan of smoking, in this day & age I dont know how anyone could start, and those who already do, I don't know how they couldn't make every effort to stop. That said and since we spun off topic too, I still believe people should be allowed to be stupid & smoke. But I also think healthcare insurers should have the right to drop you or charge you thru the nose if you do. And as far as all the other vices, they should be legal too. Like I said, everone should be allowed to be stupid.
I agree with not trying to legislate morality ... my comment was tongue in cheek.... I do believed also that smokers, heavy drinkers, obese people, drug addicts and the like should bear the extra cost that insurance puts on those that don't have the above vices ...
I sure hope so... At least in public. I hate hate hate walking into a place of business where the "designated" smoking area is in the front doorway. If someone lights up in a restaurant... especially where it is non smoking... and the management doesn't fix it... I am leaving after a chit chat with the manager and probably not going to be paying for a ruined meal. I refuse to go to "Awful House" for this very reason. I have never smoked... except a couple cigars... but grew up around it and was forced to endure it in the military my first few years.
I think you are on to something here, but I think its because businesses and gov't are making it harder and harder to find a place to smoke. Nowadays you can't even smoke outside the doors of places now, they are designating themselves a nonsmoking property. Someone said 20% still smoke, I would never have guessed that high around here since I rarely see anyone smoking anymore.
Not even one night for me. Honestly, I wouldn't give her a second look let alone talk to her in any capacity other than a friendly way.
LMAO!! Good movie!! I'm guilty of the smoking and chewing. I mostly chew. Bad habit, 100% yes It Is and I will get rid of this habit. Taboo? Probably. I get that look from some people like their so much better then me and their **** don't stink. That part pisses me off.
It's funny. Back when you could smoke in restaurants here they'd put you in the back by the toilette. In Europe it was the other ways around. If you asked for none smoking area it was back by the toilettes and the smokers had the best seats and the rest of the restaurant. Don't thinks its the same there now. And yes I agree that people that take health risk should be responsible for their own higher price health care but we know that's not going to happen so keeps raising the prices on cigs and make them wear their seat belts etc etc.
I sure hope I don't look at anyone in that way... but it is probably not that they think they are better. More than likely, it's having to walk through a really smelly smoke screen to go eat with their family or whatever and be forced to breathe someone's cigarettes; especially when the smoking takes place in an unavoidable place like right outside the front door of a place of business. Yes, I am aware that is where they put the little green benches and butt cans. I get that it bothers you but you do you think you may be misinterpreting the look they are giving?
