All through last season I thought he was a little over hyped. I (no basis for this) feel a sophmore slump with him. He came out too early (IMO). Had a decent year last year I guess. But he's far from Babe Ruth calling shots type of stuff. Just go play.

Gentleman...let me get on record saying I cannot stand SANCHIZE...lol Remember, he had an average year last year and the team he was on was 7 and 7 until they beat 2 teams that were "resting" for the playoffs just to get in. Then their running game carried them to the AFC championship. (Thomas Jones is gone and Greene looks like the no body he was before the playoffs last year) As with most teams with an average QB they did not win the big one.

Hooker, I think Jeff is eluding to all of this, plus his 70 yard performance in the opener as to why he is a prick. Cocky is OK, if you can back it up. Yeah, he is better than us etc...but he is not better than his peers he is directing his cockiness at, al la Tom Brady this week. His fat coach is living an average career off his fathers name...watch and see. If they loose does he proclaim 14-2 aint gonna be so bad...and so on and so forth.

I said he was a joke. And, I explained it.

I never called him a prick or said he was arrogant (although, now....it's pretty obvious what he said was arrogant).

    A little bit OT but......

True or False MS is on a NFL roster in 5 years?

I say false. The novelty of the good looking California boy will run out by then.

That whole Jet team is getting to much pub starting with Rex Ryan and thanks to Hard Knocks. I will enjoy watching them burn this year.....hopefully!

I just noticed this and I apologize if any one was offended...it should have read why I think he is a prick...never am I one to put words in someone mouth. I usually miss all the threads that are good while at work, and then when I get home I try to get all of them in and usually make some errors. Again, sorry for the error on my part.

    21/30 for 220 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT and the W.

    Still think he's a joke?

    Yes.

Anyone who drop-ships bullets to their opponents, prior to a gunfight is a joke.

He's .06666666666666667 of the way towards his goal of going 15-1, though. I suppose time will tell.

    Fixed it for you. ;)

I have to give credit to a person that drop-ships bullets to their opponents and backs it up by still winning the fight. He called his shot and did it. Kudos to him.

Having said that, I didn't give the Jet's a stones throw of winning that game. They proved me wrong.

I still don't think MS is a good NFL QB. Maybe he will prove me wrong about that.

Yes. Credit where due. He was right on that one.

I'd love to see him finish off the next 14 and make the other call good. Sincerely.
