Yes or no. (OK...then defend your answer....lol) Right now? YES. He's a freakin' joke. He also needs to keep his mouth shut.
A joke? No. Undeserved hype? Yes. But he is a good-looking, charismatic QB who happens to play for the best team in New York, of course he is going to get alot of attention. And what has he said that is so terrible?
Pretty much guaranteed a win, this weekend (against the Pats). Broadway Joe - he is not. He may, one day, be a great quarterback. But, if I were in his shoes, I'd keep my mouth from writing checks, until I could cash them. He aslo mentioned "15 and 1". Think it. Don't say it (especially to a reporter with a camera).
No dog or even real opinion in this fight, but really? How much of that team is left? 3 years in the NFL is a pretty long time right? Hadn't heard that Sanchez had said that, but if he did, he's a friggin moron with ALOT to learn about playing in the NFL, and more than that, playing in NYC.
oooooooo Yeah. What is he trying to accomplish by saying this? Looks like all he did is hand the Pats a chip and say "please place this on your shoulder".
Link? I've seen his comments on ESPN, and I did not hear him guarantee anything? What would you want him to say? "Yeah, I think we'll probably go 9-7." I didn't find anything wrong with anything he said. I think the guy is ******, but come on, you're trying to find something that isn't there with his comments.
If you saw his comments on ESPN, tell me.......who else was he talking about beating this coming weekend (if not the pats)? There's a difference between saying something positive and mentioning 15-1. Nobody asked him for a prediction. He just blurted that out. I have nothing against the kid. I just think he's trying too hard to put up a tough-guy front for the other guys in his locker room. And, he's trying TOO HARD. It's just not necessary. His comments make him (and the Org.) look like a joke.....ESPECIALLY the way they played, Monday night.
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5577801 Here is the quote I found. Forgive me if there is more. I did not see anything about 15-1 but I could of missed it or it could be in another article. Not saying either way but at least here is the quote. We're ready to have a breakout game," the quarterback said later at his locker, demonstrating some Rex Ryan-esque bravado. "I think [there is] no better week to do it. We'll get a win in our new stadium and get things rolling again."
Again, what do you want him to say? He said "We've been joking around here that 15-1 is still pretty good." OMG!!! What an arrogant prick. And I think you're just trying to make something out of nothing.
Yes I agree and the stroke has 1 favorite target and if he aint open he just checks down. Their were guys open all over the place and he didnt throw to them. I say set his ass next to favre on your profile.
What's wrong with nothing? Go back and read what I said. I'll help you out. Here it is..... I have nothing against the kid. I just think he's trying too hard to put up a tough-guy front for the other guys in his locker room. And, he's trying TOO HARD. It's just not necessary. His comments make him (and the Org.) look like a joke.....ESPECIALLY the way they played, Monday night.
I dont like him too well...hes not worth a damn in fantasy football..lol But i dont see whats wrong about being cocky. Hes the young leader of "hyped" football team...and hes better then me, so he can say what he wants. Do you like any athletes Jeff? lol
