Yeah, I thought of Hooker as well. You wait along time for opening day...you do not want to loose. I hope this is a sign of things to come, LSU struggling that is, since Alabama plays them in Baton Rouge at night this year....NOBODY likes to go down there at night.
I am so glad we did not get him as a coach. Just think NC was missing more then half their defense starters.
Because not to many teams have to deal with losing that many players. I thought NC did a great. For a casual fan you sure post a lot about football.
I'm just not rabid about any one team. I like to watch a few games/year. Yesterday was exciting. I just think citing ineligible players not playing is weak (not your comment, necessarily). The players are ineligible. Did they find out at a late date? Yeah. Conceded.
99% of LSU fans are considering the UNC game a loss. I guess Les thought the game was over at halftime. He pulled the majority of the defensive starters until UNC started to come back, but once they started the building their confidence, even the starters couldn't stop them. The defense looked solid in the first half when all the starters were playing, but the offense looked terrible, yet again. There were still a few Miles supporters before Saturday night (I was not one of them), but after that game, Les Miles lost the entire LSU fan base.
I like Les...his sister not so much. I missed this game and dont really care about LSU, but i do cheer for a local born coach when given the chance. Hopefully things go better then how Hook described them this season for him...
