If she already knows how much you love to hunt, no problem. Wedding planning is mostly a lady thing anyway.
Just remember a wise man once said, "Women marry men hoping they will change, Men marry women hoping they NEVER change".
Does have some truth to it.

    HaHa! love the comments!

She's one in a million! She's not into deer hunting but she doesn't care that I love it and take time to do it. She did, however, out-fish me the couple times I took her out this summer! She's also mentioned she'd try turkey hunting...I think she'd be hooked if I could get her to pull the trigger on a long beard, she's got the shotgun thing down...been on the trap team for the last 2 years, was shooting consistent 17s out of 25 with the best of 21 of 25 this summer...with a youth 20ga!

So maybe the registry thing might work???

I'm in the same boat., wedding is June 30th of next year. My fiance hunts, fishes, and absolutely will not let me register at an outdoor store.... I WORK AT ONE! I may sneak some in when she's not around, however:evilgrin:

As far as planning goes... her mom and her have most of that down. I simply nod my head if I like a color and shake my head if it costs to much, lol. She initially shot down all my hunting idea's of themes for the wedding but is starting to warm up, kinda. I do get a shed antler archway to get married under.

She shot down my idea for my groomsmen to shoot flaming arrows after the deed:jaw: ...women

Congrats! Mine is June 23rd... hope the weather cooperates for the both of us!

Yeah, the only thing I get to incorporate into the wedding is the groomsman's gifts... I'm getting them all those custom camo hats you see at the expos with their initials stitched into the side. She agreed to let us wear them during the reception.

Hey, if they "let" us do something within something they enjoy doing, great! I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy if she wanted to decorate your blind or tree stand with pretty pink and purple paint or wall paper... if she begged and begged, you would have to "let" her do that!

I've been with my gal for 6 years now and all the bickering of hunting is old habit and taken care of.
