Sooo... I'm getting married next June and wedding planning is in full swing... but all I can think of is what I'm going to get for new hunting clothing next year... I'll get on line to do some wedding planning stuff, but always end up at cabelas or gander looking at scentblock jackets and pants... is this wrong? I mean, I love her to death and am not contemplating whether I should marry her or not, I just can't keep my mind off of bow hunting while I should be wedding planning. Is there any fun way to combine the two??? I guess only if our wedding colors are Real Tree AP, but that ain't gonna happen!

Never let anything interfere with hunting. Distractions like that are bad news. Wait until the last minute, like every single other guy does when it comes to wedding planning. Wait until deer season is over.

If you call off the wedding, you don't have to worry about planning it. Problem solved. I'm glad I was here to help.

Dude at least you are getting married in the summer. I got married October 27th, 1984 in the middle of bow season. What was I thinking?:whip:

But now I get a bowhunting gift every year for our anniversary. People want to know the secret to staying married. Here it is... "don't split up!" Put her before your self... stay faithful and you guys should have plenty of time to shop for hunting stuff together. Hopefully she will enjoy the outdoors as much as you do and you can buy twice the stuff!

    Congratulations.

Yes, your wedding should consume your life. It is apparent that your marriage is doomed for failure. I feel for your future ex-wife.

Since RedFletch is new, I think we should point out that Hook is a flaming metrosexual.

I suggest getting married in a buddy stand during the peak of the rut while love is in the air for everyone (with your bow hanging and ready of course)

If she doesn't understand your hunting habits call it off because it won't ever get any better. Trust me. :)

Back to the intial question.... Incorporating hunting into your wedding plans: That's a easy one. Just watch CMT's My Big Redneck Wedding. They have all the tips on the show you will ever need. lol!

Forget the wedding and elope to New Zealand for a fantastic honeymoon.
It will be a trip of a life time and you can hunt some Red Stags:)

Or put the money down on a home and take a cruise.
