Is it too late to use "doe in heat" urine? Should i just use regular doe urine ? Big storm coming through tomorrow and I'm gonna try to lure a shooter in before class tomorrow. Keep in mind its public land so I'm sure theuy have experienced all sorts of attractants during rifle season

Kinda tough to ask is it, and say keep in mind within the same question. If you want my two cents..it is never to late for anything. Go for it!

Weather it works or not..can never say fer sure..

Not too late at all, does that weren't breed successfully should be coming back in about now along with some yearlings. As for it working, I gave up on scents and other pixy dust products years ago. Good luck!

It's not too late. The does that didn't get bred in November will be coming in soon. I saw bucks chasing a doe yesterday while on stand.

Thanks guys I wasn't sure if second rut was already over or had even started. I haven't been in the woods since a week before rifle season so I missed all of the action lol

I'm still seeing bucks chase does and scrapes being freshened, I would give it a shot.

If nothing else, a passing buck will certainly stop for a sniff giving you your opportunity.

Dude I just left Waynesville Mo on sat. I would use still steaming and regular doe pee together. I rattle while I was there and brought in 3 nice bucks. I did make a mistake and moved too soon. Try rattling for a long time like 3-4 mins on the ground and use grunt tube set up the scent wick out about 30 yrd from you downwind so if the cut your track they will catch that before you. it worked for me but I moved. I live in Texas now and deer respond different to the horns here. have patients.
