    Tight end?

Perhaps. I think you'll see him at QB first though.

he'll back up the back up this yr. and go in on some wildkat formations and go to a diff team next yr. not sure he wants to be a TE.... plus this yr new rules that you can dress your 3rd stringer. in past years he was on the inactive list and would play only if the other two got injured. DONT ASK ME HOW I KNOW......(frickin nfc championship!!!!!!!!) so now they made it a rule

if TT doesnt want play TE i dont think he should have to. enough football around now (even if it is in another league) that he can remain at QB

It would be time to "move" him to TE if he were to fail at QB. He hasn't been given the chance to fail or succeed yet either. I am the biggest Tebow fan on these boards, but he hasn't earned that chance yet either. Kyle Orton is simply a better quarterback than Tebow. The only competition going on in Denver was for the number 2 spot.

I just hope he gets the chance to be THE quarterback with some team somewhere down the road. With a coach who trusts him and is willing to let him lead a team and play the way he is capable of. If and when he does get that chance, I wouldn't bet against him .

i hear ya but he is given the chance with every rep, every question asked in meetings and so on. hate to say it but just cause in college...... you fill in the blank. i will be the first to tell ya qb is not my special area of knowledge but have seen tons of them come and go and i think this kid is gonna struggle a bit before anything gets better. not saying all hope is lost (took Harrison times being cut to "get it") hey there are other leagues too

Tebow has an amazing work ethic, great attitude, amazing atheltic ability, and just all around good person; but he just isn't a QB. He's back up behind Quinn and Weber is getting ready to move ahead of him come next year. Love Tebow or hate Tebow, that's just how it is. He was never trained to take snaps under center and can't yet run an offense consistently. All hope is not lost though, he has the ability and mindset to be successful and learn the QB role.
For the record I was never a Tebow fan at Florida, for just this reason, he was so hyped but and I knew come NFL, it just wouldn't work. Now though, it just seems everyone hates him and he is moving to the underdog or "Rudy" role.

EVERYONE says he should be a TE (not comparable to Clark, but I may be biased), however, to my knowledge he has not been tried as a TE.

I'm glad it's already been decided that he'll 4th string next year already, when he is competing for the back up role as we speak.

Did not read the article, but heard boomer esiason ripped him pretty good today. I think denver is so bad, and they have so much invested that he will get a go eventually...maybe not this year, but soon.

I wonder if he would actually be any good at TE? He isn't overly tall or fast for that position.

For instance...the Vikings recent 2nd round pick Kyle Ruldolph runs the same speed but is 6'6" and 260 lbs.

I guess it would depend on how good his route running and ball skills would be?

He has the size, speed, athleticism, and intelligence to succeed at the TE position. I have been saying it before he was even drafted. A lot of the lankier, taller TE's get pushed around on run blocking, so being 6'6" isn't always an advantage in the NFL.

True. I'm not saying that come next year he is the 4th string no matter. I'm saying as of right now, that's looking like where he'll end up. It's up to him to change that, and he has the characteristics to do so. According to the interview I read Orton is by far #1, and Quinn has a more understanding of the NFL than Tebow does. If Tebow can learn a real NFL offense and how to take snaps under center, watch out.

You have to remember that Tebow is a product of McDaniels who is no longer there. The current coaching staff is thrilled with the progress and what they have seen from Weber.

I'm not a fan of his but look at Terrelle Pryor's measureables at a potential TE or reciever

    6 ft 5
    232 lbs
    4.36 forty time

Tim Tebow is a great FOOTBALL PLAYER, not a great QB. he has the drive to win and will find any way to do it no matter how "scrappy" it may be. that being said, his mechanics and decision making as a QB are awful and need a lot of work. maybe a position change is what he needs to be successful but i do think that he has what it takes to be a leader of a team regardless of where hes lined up on the field
