Well I don't see that happening. Football brings in billions of dollars but I can see why one would think that. The commish has a corrupt system set up where he and nobody else makes the decisions on suspensions, fines, etc. Then the new bounty scandal thats being talked about. Parents will think twice about letting their kids play. The ridiculous amount of money it takes to go to one game. One day it'll become to much for the average american and they will lose money. Money being lost with the increasing average salary of a football player is not a good combination. Then the lawsuits with the former players. Now you have HDTV which is amazing. Just not good things for football right now but I will continue to watch it on tv and buy jerseys occasionally. I sure do love my COWBOYS!!!!
I don't see it going away. If anything it will grow into a world side sport as they are playing games over sea's now. Not sure it's a good thing but like said they need to expand the market to keep up with cost's and salaries. Go Pack!
Putting together a solid team this year. I only love things that are worth loving..and the steelers aren't worth it.
My logic is based on the nearly 700 lawsuits the NFL is facing from former players. Technically, the courts could shut the NFL down if it finds the sport "too dangerous".
I don't know, I'm sure they can still operate even with all that. Heck, look at our country, no one really cares about stuff like that.
Maybe it would overall better for college football? Take the money out of it. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Chicken Little is telling us the sky is falling. It isn't happening dude. Entirely too much money passing through it. You'll be thrown by the wayside before football.
