Hello my name is Nick, I'm 19 and I would consider myself a Bowhunting Junkie. Love to go out and hunt! My only
issue is ive seen some deer on my trail cams but rarely when i go out. I probably see a deer 20% of the time when i go out on stand. I hunt both mornings and evening but was wondering if you believe my stand placement is
hindering my sightings. I am very conscious of my scent but maybe I'm still doing something wrong. Any ideas. I
could also upload a link to the land i hunt if anyone would have tips that's be greatly appreciated.

    Bowhunt or Die.

It could very well be stand location, times of the day, season, etc. I have plenty of pics of deer passing my cameras. If I look at the times the photos were taken, I don't see any rhyme or reason for their arrival times. But, if I take into the temperature, the season, whether or not crops are still in the field, etc. I can usually get a pattern until the rut is closing in and everything goes out the window.

It could be location. I'd also look at your entry route. You can have the best placement in the world, but if you are bumping the deer you wanna hunt on the way in, it does you no good.

Do you have any sat images of your location? There are a ton of guys here that may be able to help you with your setup.

Hi Nick, if it were me. 20% is a low number. I like to be around 50 to 60%.
