I know Randy had "control" with a bunch of Hugging... BUT Brandon Vera dominated when they were "fighting" .
I agree, so he pushed and held Vera on the cage, so what??? Vera hurt him more than once with those kicks although not the most exciting fight I ever saw Vera cleary won 29-28 imo. B.S! They are trying to push for big fights with Randy in the 205 division. Randy will get smeared, he is not top level competition especially with the fighters today. Great guy but not a top contender. Just a big name.
Machida and several will kick his rear...only thing good about that whole card is the fact it was free. I would have been pissed had I paid for it, or went to buffalo wild wings...the whole card sucked.
Gotta agree. Both Joe Rogan and Dana White said they thought Brandon won as well; I was literally shocked when Buffer called Randy's name. I think Brandon should have scored as many points for defending Randy's takedown attempts as much as Randy earned for holding him against the fence, thus neutralizing the whole clinch game. Then, when you look at what took place outside the clinch game, Brandon clearly was the winner of everything else.
The thing with Brandon is that he is afraid to pull the trigger it seems. When he was hungry still, before he scored that new big contract, he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger. He needs to start finishing fights, otherwise I really couldn't care to watch him anymore. Just MHO, but he needs to stop trying to play it safe and win decisions if he wants to be great.
