Too warm for my liking. I would have them skinned and quartered and in a fridge or cooler.

As long as it doesn't go up into the 50s a bunch, you're fine. What's the weather look like for the coming week where you are?

You will be fine go with blocks instead of cubes.

Yeah, definitely fine, especially with ice. Anything weird you smell tomorrow is just in your head. Don't worry about it.

This may seem stupid what do you mean blocks

You replied to me instead of Sota who mentioned blocks. But he means the solid blocks of ice in the cooler rather than the ice that is in cubes for drinks. The solid blocks melt more slowly.

I'm sorry I just saw that. I don't know where I could get any of those. My phone says we are at 46° now.

They should be in the same cooler where the bag ice is. The usually sell them side by side. They're both in bags, just one is cubes and the other is a solid block.

    46 is no big deal

Ok thanks guys. The last thing I would want to do. Is kill something and then it go to waste.

You might be able to get away but there as no such thing as getting a deer cooled down too fast after it is gutted.

How does that keep the hind quarters (where most of the meat is) cool? Seriously just curious. Lot of nights I would rather hang the deer and deal with it the next day at those temps, but anything above 30ish i'm not comfortable with so I'll skin and quarter. Also, outside temp at 43? Inside a garage might be even warmer.
