Is Hugh Douglas worse than Riley Cooper???

So Riley Cooper gets a little (maybe a lot) drunk, and makes some stupid statements, that get him a little heat from the boss. Understandably so, but who should be offended by what he said??? Are all Blacks now "n----rs???" I've been called a "cracker" before, and just shrugged it off because it ain't what or who I am. Had a "black" athlete called George Zimmerman a "Cracker (and I think more than a few actually did)" does he get suspended, fined, punished in any way??? Truth be told, no one should have been offended by Riley Cooper's assinine statement unless he or she is indeed accepting that they are a "n----r."

Now the Hugh Douglas case goes to a different level in which he got a little (or likely a lot) drunk and he specifically went after an individual, and called that individual an "Uncle Tom," and a "House N----r," and threatened and maybe even tried to beat him up.

But realistically don't we hear the word in every single rap song that's our there??? How many rap groups used the word in their name??? If it's such a filthy word, then why don't "homies" get their face stomped in when another "homie" says "What's up N----r???"

Riley Cooper should have appealed his punishment if he could find a single "black" football player who'd called Zimmerman a Cracker, or listened to rap music using "N----r", or ever said "affectionately" to another "black" person "What's up N----r?"


Maybe our society has lost it's "common sense" compass.... Is it a double standard, or is it political correctness???
