Seeing that the Packers were already out of contention, i felt obligated to cheer for a fellow NFC North team, and our ex-leader, though the Vikings are my least liked team.

I can't root for a team in the same division unless it benifits my team. Even if my teams ex-QB is leading them.

I've rooted for the Packers every year when my Vikings weren't In contention. I never liked Favre when he was a Packer but only because he was a rival but I never once knocked the guy down being he was one of the best at his position. I was always In awe when I watched him. Bears, different story. Never rooted for them at all when the Vikes weren't In contention. It was because of Ditka and the comments he made being he hated the Vikings when he coached there. Ditka though has my respect and then some. Great football guy!!
