Yeah his teamates must have decided they had enough of playing hard for Timmy. The magical powers must have wore off.
I haven't read the entire thread, but this is why I can't stand the media. There are millions of reasons to not feel sorry for professional athletes, but all the dude does is be himself and be a football player (he may not be a great qb but he is a great football player) and the media eats it up. Tebow can't fart without them debating it on PTI, First Take, and having a breaking news update with Adam Shefter. I get it, he's good media, I personally like Tebow, but it's time for the media to get off his Jock so we as nfl fans can at least get a break from talking about him until next season. That's my rant.
Most world class athletes not only have supreme physical skills but play with a high level of emotion, meaning they are definitely open to being inspired each and every game. Football is a highly emotional sport, where the game can be nearly won and lost before the initial whistle is even blown. Talk to big time world class football players and they will tell you the cream of the football crop lives and dies on preparation, emotion/attitude, and execution.
It's simply about them reacting, making plays and using their gift on the field. Let's say Ray Lewis doesn't give his pre game pump everyone up routine. It's the second quarter and the ball is snapped and it's a running play. You're telling me Suggs (for example) isn't going to go at it as hard as he would if Lewis didn't pump him up before the game? Each individul on the field has that inside them. They dont' feed off any one individual. Agree to disagree I guess. Yes they do play with emotion. Nobody is going to argue that.
I just heard the statement "should Tim Tebow be going to the Pro Bowl" on ESPN. I turned the channel and boycot watching that network for the end of time.
