Is bowhunting your top priority as far as hobbies go, compared to fishing, golfing, etc. ? If you answered yes, has it always been?

Personally speaking, bowhunting is number one for me. I first started hunting with a bow about 14 years ago but it's only been my top priority for the past 3 years.

I wouldn't say specifically bowhunting, more hunting in general. I'll hunt with any weapon for big game and I also love to waterfowl hunt.

Yes, it is my number one hobby, hasn't always been though. I got into hunting late (didn't start until I was 14 or so) but once I got going it really took off. Theres nothing I would rather be doing then sitting in the woods with a bow in my hand!

Not for me, sure, it I love archery hunting, but it is something that I can only do for a couple months out of the year. I would say that fishing is my #1 hobby simply because I can fish all year long, bass, bluegill, trout, pike, walleye, catfish, crappie, perch, muskie, steelhead, ect.... ice fishing, fly fishing, trolling, bait casting, ect.. there are just so many more aspects to get into!

Bowhunting is #1 for me. I do enjoy other hobbies such as fishing, golf, camping, hiking, volleyball/softball in summer...but with a growing family I have to prune the hobby tree...and bowhunting is the one limb I have yet to prune...

It wasn't always. I would say it has become my #1 hobby the last 3-4 years.

I can't say it is number one now because I am very involved in football and weightlifting I have been very successful in both so they hold the number one spot now, but I am sure once I get past all that it will take over the number one spot in my life.

I have been shooting a bow since around the same time I started school in 1960.
Never really thought of it as a hobby.

i have multiple hobbies, hunting is just one of them, I can't pick a #1 cuz it depends on the time of year... in the fall/winter, sure... my year round hobbies are brewing beer and playing guitar, my winter only hobby is snowmobiles, summer is motorcycles (though right now i'm without a sled or a bike!!! argh!!)

i'd like to spend more time hunting but its kinda tough with the kids the ages they are... knee deep in sports and such... hopefully that will improve this year...

Yes it is. Fishing is a mere distraction until deer season starts again.

I have several hobbies but I would have to say I get the most enjoyment out of bowhunting.

Hmmm Yes, I reckon it is. Because while I do enjoy it year round. I involve the whole family with scouting, my young son, with forays into the bush and some stand placement. I don't make it a solitary endevour. Until I go afield with bow in hand, (hope to change that this year with a blind, taking my 5 year old on some hunts that I think will put deer in close proximity to the blind).

Without my family's support, I could not be involve to the level that I am.

During this time of year I enjoy Golf and I'm probably equally enthusiastac about that until late summer.
