    I'm more than ready too, I have a chance starting Aug. 15th for a buck, then doe season comes in Sept. 15th. Almost have everything ready and going to check a camera tomorrow.

    yup James, buck only season comes in Aug. 15th and all deer are in season Sept. 15th. It so hot that time of year i don'd hunt much other than if I have a buck patterned pretty well. Thankfully I've got 2 or 3 shooters coming to the same spot almost every day at 8 PM.

    Got 46 more days till season here but with the cold front that we just had ... my neck went to swelling something terrible . If it doesn't warm up soon I might even start rubbing my head on the trees :)

    I was doing ok, until earlier in the week. I was up at my property working on some late food plots, and a cold front came thru. For a couple hours it felt like late September, and all of a sudden, I got the "fever" again. 45 days or so until bow season opens, though I usually don't hunt until October, due to the heat and leaves.
