I just ordered some of these last week and should see them soon. I used them 2 years ago and I figure they can't hurt. I'm going to try them again. Is anyone else trying this scent control measure? http://www.puritan.com/chlorophyll-598/chlorophyll-concentrate-003461?NewPage=1
Always liked the idea of it, I have had Chlorophyll mouth drops, and those things freshened the heck outta my breath!!
Been doing it for the past 2 years TX... Let me warn of the possible side-effects of LOTS 0' pooping.
You've reminded me to order my chloroflage right here from bowhunting.com for the year. I've been using them a couple of years now and I can definetly notice a difference. I work in a warehouse with no a/c so by the end of the day I can be rather.............foul. When I start taking the chloroflage in the fall, I don't stink nearly as bad. So I am confident it works. I'm on my way to place my order now, thanks for the reminder.
I just carry shelled walnuts with me on stand.. they neutralize my breath.. are natural to the area.. give me something to throw at squirrels when the hunting is slow and they taste good
Nope. I eat an apple or something like that to cover my breath. Wash and hunt the wind. Save your money.
I agree. Apples work really nice and they're cheap. You might try smashing a few apples and rubbing them on your camo . . . believe me, it works!
wow! walnuts, apples...... cool stuff! im trying both this yr. along with some scent gum of course =-) cause my breffffffff is kickin!!!!!!!!
I always have a couple of apples in my pack for an on stand snack. I just figured the chlorophyll is a very inexpensive means of helping controll scent. I know it can't hurt my chances and its a heck of a lot cheaper than scent lok!
I'm not to the point where I take pills for scent control of hunting. I LOVE the walnuts idea though, messing with squirrels is my number one on stand activity. Last year I had a very persistent little dude who simply would NOT leave me alone the morning I killed my buck. He'd bark run come back bark run come back steal a hickory nut bark run come back....45 minutes later I threaded an arrow down through the length of his body starting in the top of his head and exiting his rear end. The hickory nut in his mouth was stuck in place. He shut up finally, and 30 minutes later I killed my buck.
I always like to eat an apple on my drive to our farm. I have also filled a little water bottle with a crushed up apple and water blend some years ago. I only used it on 2 hunts, but I did see deer and never got winded. Doubt it was due to my apple cocktail I had made for my clothes though.
