    No. Not a hater.

Don't you really laugh at the guy that goes to the NASCAR race and sports the big Jimmy Johnson cap.....when you know he was an Irvin; Earnhardt; Stewart and Gordon fan, before? He's the definition of a "homer".

Do you not find it unusual that all of your (barring one) favorite teams are the winningest teams in the history of their respective sports? Really?

The fans of these teams are typically gifted gloaters........................................and whiners. It's a vicious cycle.

Guilty as charged I suppose. I happen to have a thing for winning and supporting winning. Not real sure where the homer thing came from. I've liked the same teams since I was born. Been down the rough roads as well as the good. Still a diehard UNC fan (which in case you didn't notice arent' that great anymore). But watch every game and support them the same as I do when they contend. Same with the Yankees and Cowboys. I remember some pretty dismal years for the boys before they broke back through in the 90's.

A Homer, by definition...is somebody who only thinks there team/player is the greatest/best/above every other team/player

A "front runner"..."bandwagoner"...is the guy your describing Jeff

Yeah the Jets are doing pretty good so far. Sanchez is doing fine for a youngster, I respect the way they get after people on D.

Dallas, well chit, like I have said for years on here. NO discipline, no chance. I dont care how talented they are. I became a Cowboy fan when Tom Laundry coached back in the 70s. He was a classy guy that brought discipline to Dallas. Then came Jimmy Johnson, kept the discipline in Dallas. Those two coaches won the super bowls for Dallas. Everyone one knows Barry Switzers superbowl was Jimmys team and mindset, yes it was starting to slip, but Dallas had the core players there to get them that last Superbowl. So until Dallas gets that kind of coach back I will never count on Dallas to be a super bowl champ.

I have always liked Favre. If all this latest chit is true about him. Then I have lost some respect for the guy. I doubt I will pull for them as much.

So to answer your ? ... 1 of the 3 teams I like to watch in the NFL are worth a chit right now... I hope by the end of the season its at least 2 of 3..

Shed,,,,Your are the man!!!! could not have said it better myself. Tom Laundry "a class act if there ever was one." The shotgun formation, THE BOYS ran it years ago under Coach Laundry. Go Cowboys. I will always think of the Cowboys as the team Tom Laundry built.

Check his stats. His in the top 10 in the league. Has been for years. After you run some numbers get back with us.

Dallas fans kill me when they blame Romo. Best thing they've had since Aikman and they still tear him down. Start with you O-line, draft a decent RB and fire your head coach. Then if things are still crap and Romo's numbers are still where they are.....keep searching for the problem.

Wow....with career stats like these and Cowboys fans put the blame on him. Unreal.

Felix Jones averages about 6 yards per carry. Jason Garrett just refuses to use him. He has to be more sophisticated than simply run the ball like the good old Cowboy days. And Barber is a beast for the power run game.

Romo may put up ok numbers. He may throw the ball ok. It's just something there with the dude. He doesn't have the it factor. He doesn't win like he's supposed to. Just looks like he's out there to play and whatever happens.... happens. Doesn't have that Elway, Montana, gritty jump on my back and enjoy the ride attitude. He'll make the mistake at the worst times. He can't ever seem to give his team that little something to put them over the edge. Always seems like they are fighting an uphill battle with Romo running the show. They should be blowing some teams out with the talent surrounding him.

Ny... the problem with your logic is that Romo can't go against jerry Jones illegitimate son....Jason garrett. If Romo could call his own plays and get the run game established he would win more games.... Romo is the least of the.Cowboys problems....Garrett needs to go....he costs so much more than hes worth.

    A voice of reason!!!

Romo puts up "ok" numbers. Ha ha!!! Ok...what kind of numbers do you want the guy to put up? The fact that he was sacked 34 freaking times last year and he still put up outstanding numbers tells me the guy could be a stud given an O-line.

Like I said, when you are done with him send him north.

Yeah I agree with you with Garrett. I didn't understand it from day one and REALLY don't get it now. The scary thing is I believe they are still grooming him to be the next head coach? Fire Phillips and promote Garrett? Yikes.

And 2 lung Romo has enjoyed time with an above average o-line. Didn't make that much of a difference. Not claiming Dallas has the greatest offensive line in football now, but a LOT of those sacks are self imposed. He tries to make a play until beyond the last second (sometimes good... sometimes not good). He has a hard time throwing the ball away or recognizing when to.
