I've never been less excited for the Bears to be 4-1. Every week I just like Martz/Cutler less and less...give me Kyle Orton, a Lovie Smith "guard the ball" style, and a killer D...man never thought I'd say that. ...but I'm still rootin', I'll take playoffs no matter how we get there.
Personally I think the celebration rules is bogus, yes I said bogus... As long as they don't taunt, then I think they should be given about 10 seconds to do what they want without the use of props (thanks ocho..).
To an extent.. If you get pwnd!, then you should be able to here it. Itll create more effort as to not be embarrassed. Then again...taunting is bad sportsmanship
since when is pro sports about sportsmanship?? as long as they aren't fighting or hitting each other, talking trash and stuff is all part of the game... and at that level of athleticism its not like you're talkin trash to someone who ~thinks~ they are great players but aren't, these guys actually ARE great... all of them... i just think its a useless rule that gets overused (abused?) by refs...
Not sure what makes us "fair weather fans". I wish I could make the deal for them. Romo sucks ass! Period! Does anybody stop to consider the talent that is surrounding that guy? What has he done with it? Won A playoff game? Him and Jason Garett (for some reason the golden child) can take their circus act someplace else.
If that's directed toward my post then it's going to remain the same (for me). Homo is the leader of the team (or so I've heard). Literally done NOTHING in his career. I could just as easily be calling for Wade Phillips head, but I dont' think he's all that bad of a coach. Hell I could be calling for a number of "sacrificial lambs" but at the end of the day it all comes back to the guy that is supposed to win games.
And when he's gone....it'll be the current WR....or the coach....or (____;______;______'___). One thing's always predictable in Dallas.....................................whining.
Wade needs to be demoted to Defensive Coordinator The red headed stepchild (aka Garrett) needs to go We need a hard nosed coach in here to teach the Boys some discipline IMO it's not Romo. I think he does some great things and puts up great numbers most weeks. But two of every three drives are killed or kept alive (offense and defense) by penalty's or stupid play calling (like the last play of the 1st half in the Redskins game).
Listen....you and I both know Dallas markets itself as "America's Team". They have the biggest following of latchers-on "homers" of any team in the history of sports (joined....'coincidentally' with the NYY). Around here, there's UNC basketball that joins them. One thing there's ALWAYS plenty of with fans of these teams.........whining. Sorry if that hits REALLY close to home with you.
Soooooooooo let me get this straight. The only fans of sports team that have complaints or "whine" about their teams are Yankees fans, Cowboys fans, and UNC fans? I could probably pull up somewhere around 1,000 post in a half hour to the contrary. Maybe you're just a ???
