I'll drop one on a deer this fall and let you know how far into the ground it penetrates after going through it. At 315 grains they're more like spear heads than arrow heads!

Well, guys, I bought the 4 blade Carbon Express Quad Pro today for me and the CE Troika ST3 for my wife. I was not super sure about these at first but once home and opened man am I surprised!!! The Quad Pro has a 1" cut and these blades shaved the hair on my arms straight out of the pack. The Troikas are super nice also. Blades are a little thinner but, seam really stout and are just as sharp. Over the weekend I will be breaking in new strings on both bows and next week will be test and tune on the strings, NAP Apache rest and broadheads. This is going to be fun!!!

Thanks for everyones help!! Once again, I apreciate everyones opinions and it helped!!!

First pic is the Quad Pro and the second is the Troika ST3.

    A few different reasons.
    1. Her bow is lighter poundage. With the leading blade and the thinner other blades seem to me like they would cut through better with a lower poundage.

    2. It has a 1-1/8" cut. Her bow will not get a pass through with any broad head unless it would be under a 10yd shot. I wanted maximum cut when it does hit.

    3. I gave her 3 heads to choose from and this is the one she chose. With it as sharp as it is, I believe it will do great.

I know and I can't wait. I found a trail yesterday in a part of the woods I never go due to I know it is deer heavy! Sounds backwards I know but, I want to stay out of this area. It is a pine thicket and could only be hunted by ground. I went ahead and went in only a few feet and found one heck of a trail going in. I want to hunt this trail so bad I can't stand it. I think I am going to put her on it first or at least set up my two man stand on it so she can at least be there when I arrow my first deer. She said today she wants us to hunt together a few times and one of us video the hunt each time. She went a few times with me last season and it was great. Opening day and my first hunt she was there with me. We got busted due to not having good enough cover in our home made burlap blind and she was hooked from there. This year I hope we both arrow our first deer and I hope it is when we are both together. I have a feeling it is going to be a good season. No matter how many deer we harvest.
