I don't know. Maybe 20 min. It takes me longer to pick out the clothes. I am surprised for all the hatred towards ironing.
Nope, they get fluffed in the dryer to remove the creases repeatedly until my wife puts them away. I put my own laundry in the washer and will switch them over by I refuse to fold clothes and we do not iron in my house.
I need to wear casual dress slacks and shirts for work, salesman you know, so I try to buy wrinkle free stuff, which works ok for a while, but then you have to put an iron to it once in a while, maybe one a month. I never iron my slacks, I just can' get the pleat to come out right, I always take bmy slacks to the dry cleaners, they do a good job. As far a time spent, maybe an hour when I do iron shirts !
When I was in the corporate world I would iron my shirts. However my pants was a different story. Men's Warehouse has a little contraption out back in their stores that will 'set in' the crease for each leg (even pleats) - greatest thing since sliced bread if you ask me!
I only iron when I have to. If I get stuff out of the dryer quickly I'm good. It's only a small amount of times I have to wear something that is wrinkled & needs ironing. I wear kakhis & a golf/polo shirt to work daily. How's this for a shocker...my girlfriend doesnt even OWN an iron. A female, that doesn't own an iron. I never knew one existed?
^what he said^ However, I iron all my clothes. Except for my hunting clothes of course. Every now and then I will take something to the cleaners. I always have ironed my clothes since I was at least 8 years old. My Mom and Dad always told us to be as neat and clean as possible. Ironing is therapeutic to me. Maybe I am weird. Like Afflicted said, good way to catch up on some bow hunting shows too.
I also get cloths out of the dryer and hang right away but also lightly dry knit shirts and T-shirts first and let them finishes drying on a hanger.
