I decided to post it here instead of the G2G section since some dont visit there. I finally got it finished for the G2G and gave it a couple test shots today from 30 yards without a warm up, kinda hoping but not really, that I would mess an arrow up :D It didnt happen :ninja: I know I know, some were expecting a buck with hugh antlers  but after shorting out my 4" grinder (i fixed it) and many hours in the making I just gave it a spike sorta Fergie clause thingy :D Hey its still a buck!! And besides, I gotta haul this thing up in a Jeep, so 130" of antler was going to take up to much room. I decided to just go with flat black because if I started with brown I would of ended up getting to detailed with eyes, white tail, and belly, and so on (to much work) :D Ladies and Gentlemen I give you BIG DINGER :woot: some of it like the legs, head, rump and neck are 18 GA but the majority of the kill area has a doubler added making it a smidgen over 1/8 thick, should be plenty to do some destruction ;) I wanted it fairly light so it can be handled easily.

Looks great crick! So is there going to be some kind of a competition that goes along with this or just a fun shoot?

You oughta make an insert to make the sweet spot smaller for those who really want to talk smack!

But really, great job. Using that bugger beginners would either get good real fast or quit.

Well done Dan, well done!!! I've wrecked a few arrows at a traditional shoot I go to every year. They always have 4 of these metal targets with the vitals cut out. Very challenging they are no matter the distance, specially with a crowd of buddy's waiting for the TINK!!

EXCELLENT lookin' target there BC, and you made it very realistic for what Raceway (aka:big dinger) hunts! :moose:

Go w/3.5" insert, that'll separate the arrow slingers from the S**t slingers.:p
