wishing that we had found a way to make it so that the coach on the opposite sideline this weekend was on ours instead? I totally respect Harbaugh's decision, but I don't feel (3 games in) like I am seeing any significant changes. Kelly might be collected and calculating in front of a camera, but on the sideline, he's a gambler. I'm not even completely against that mentality, but if we are gonna lose, lets do it a new way. I had no aspirations of glory this year, but some changes would be nice.
Damn, I'm by no means a fan of Notre Dame, but I think Brian Kelly is a good coach. Give the man a chance. It's only been 3 games with Fat Charlie's players.
For me, it hasn't been about the losses. It's been about the decisions and the way they are losing. Completely understand the player personal thing.
I think you have to give a guy 3 years, to at least get his own recruits on the field. He made Cinci a decent team. He should be able to make Notre Dame a great team. Both of those games could have gone either way. If the QB doesnt get hurt in the Michigame, ND probably wins that one. The MSU game was a toss up. Sometimes you lose those games.
Kelly has been successful at every stop. His staff recruits well too. I would be very suprised if he doesn't turn the ND program around. I wish Michigan had hired him 3 years ago.
