the iPhone takes better pics than my droid, but the entire phone is smaller than my Droid Maxx HD screen. I like the big screen.
I've always used iPhones because that is what work sends me and since I never see a bill, I can't complain. However we have recently switched to a Gmail server for work and the new S5 looks awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hate just about everything about Apple. I hate all their ridiculous and redundant security. Don't ever forget that password on your 4 year old Ipod. I hate the fact that you can only sync a device to one computer, that's just dumb. I hate Itunes in general. I hate how proprietary they are, so if you ever need to upgrade or work on an Imac, your going to have to drop a bunch of coin. I hate the ridiculous aspect ratio of the Iphone 5. Seriously, videos that are taken and posed vertically drive me insane. Lastly, but not least, I hate hate hate their advertising. It's so smug! I like Android because it's open source, it's flexible, and it's adaptable. I like the fact that there are options for devices. I'm not limited to one company's vision of a smart phone. Multiple companies developing technology will always outdo one company trying to corner the market.
Tell that to Bill Gates before the government stepped in and created laws to prevent just that. LOL I'm not saying iPhones are better than androids. Just simpler and easier. If I didn't have a Macbook I'd likely consider other phones as well, but with the way they sync so seamlessly there is no way I'd consider another brand phone.
I'm not really a big fan of Microsoft either. I just don't see how an Iphone is any easier than an Android phone. What can you do that is simpler with an Iphone?
It's not what I can do, its just what it does for me. It backs up without me telling it to. It syncs the stuff from my iphone over to my ipod without me telling it to. My laptop downloads drivers/installations on its own without me searching for it to do so. iCloud keeps everything up to date and accessible along with GPS coordinates of my phones exact location without me asking it to do so (both very helpful if you lose/break phones every 4-6 months like I do). My friend has the S4 and my 5S has substantially better battery life (maybe will change as my phone ages). Accessories like forgotten chargers are EVERYWHERE including any 1 of 3 people you ask or every gas station. iTunes is super simple to use if you aren't into pirated music. It's nothing big, they are just easier to use once initially setup IMO. Everyone has different tastes though which is why 25 different models of smart phones are available currently haha.
The first step in fixing a problem is admitting there is a problem. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I just wish the darn things weren't so expensive without a 2 year contract! I added it up after I lost yet another phone this past weekend... I've had 7 iPhones in the past 3 years. Alcohol had no bearing on the multiple phones misplaced or dropped into the lake either... None whatsoever.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. It does everything I want it to because I control it and configure it to work as I want it to, not what Samsung or Google wants it to. iPhones do what Apple wants it to, not always what the user wants it to. In my opinion my Samsung Galaxy takes better pictures and the phone makes better use of the screen as well as more buttons options. iPhones have just the one button which is annoying and it's almost too simplified that it makes it almost dumb. Of course this is all opinion. This is the same old Ford vs Chevy argument unfortunately.
I have had both. I loved the android because you can always add more memory, which is important as I use my phone to listen to music, read and watch tv shows. I love the iPhone because, one I'm not paying for it (work phone) and two it's a one stop sync station, if everything is in iTunes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have had multiple models of each and I ended up going back to Android and currently have the Galaxy S5. I picked this for the better camera, expandable memory, removable battery, better screen and not having the iphone restrictions. But different strokes for different folks.
