No simultaneous voice and data when using 4G. Another big feature Apple is leaving out so you can buy the 5s in 4 months. When it comes to marketing, Apple is as good as it gets.
Truth. I pre ordered today! Only with the 16G though, would have liked to go with the 32G but just don't need it with the 64G iPad I have. Which really has way more space than I'll need.
Umm, that was a big negative Vito was mentioning, not a positive. They're certainly good at marketing, but the phone is an average upgrade with LOTs of hype.
Huge amount of hype for something that is still behind the curve of Samsung. The Apple sheep will flock though. The sales reps in the industry have a running joke about the people that wont even listen to the pros and cons of different phones. All they know is that they have got to have an Iphone. They dont know why, but they have to have it. I also think its funny that Apple changed the charger required for no reason other than the fact that they will now sell a few million new chargers. Nice. HTC's, Samsung's, etc, could print money and some people would still say, "I dont care, I want an Iphone."
Like those who just don't understand tebow, they tend to focus on one flaw, but it's the whole tebow package that makes him special, just like the iPhone.
Oh I understand the iPhone is a decent product, but its not head and shoulders better than other devices like Apple fandoms would have you believe.
They need an sd card viewer for trail cam pulling PSE Bows... Because Speed, Accuracy, and Penetration doesn't get old
Oh, I just assumed you knew how to delete portions of quotes, and had meant to quote the entire thing Vito said including a major flaw. Silly apple fans :D
Let me preface this with the fact that I honestly could care less, to be honest. Some people are WAY too excited over phones. No matter the feature set, improvements, speeds, etc,. to me, it's just a phone. It will NEVER substitute a laptop or PC for me (unless for some reason they someday cease to exist). A smartphone is nice to have (I have an "old" HTC Incredible 2), but geesh, it's a phone for goodness sake. There's more hype surrounding this stupid release than there is coverage of the Fed's QE3 release, the current election, and the increasing unrest in the Middle East. With that being said, I don't like Apple's proprietary, egotistical approach to things (even though YES it works, and YES they're out to make profit). The charging port change (as noted above), the lack of MircoSD storage, the lack of synchronous voice/data over 4G, IPS vs AMOLED (I know the retina is solid, but the battery life advantages of AMOLED, and the subsequent darker/richer blacks may make a difference to some), lack of NFC support, etc., all are areas where I think it falls short compared to the flagship models others are offering. For the average user these things probably won't matter. Personally, if you like the iPhone, have at it. I'm sure it will be great. Over hyped? Absolutely.
