Yes i could see missing them. I used to rodeo and work on the rode. Never home. Quit all of it to come home and start a family. God bless you and yours go pop a couple during shotgun season. If you need more help give me a call. Fyi. My buck was not only first public land official hunt but first shot out of a saddle too.
Boy talk about a downer. Shot small buck to end my season last monday. Back to work last Thursday. Thursday night get home to farmer cutting corn and temperature drops. Friday Saturday would of been amazing hunting. I had the last standing corn in 5 square miles.
Yeah not mad about having 4 deer in freezer. But the timing of the rut and him combining plus good temps. Prolly some of the best conditions ive ever had at this piece and im fixing a garbage disposal and making deer sticks. O well.
Unfortunately not. It's been such an odd season. I will see if i can get out any in late archery season but we will see. Sorry guys.
No need to be sorry. Some seasons are great and some are horrible. Last year i killed one deer and hunted the most i ever hunted. This year i winged it got lucky and filled the freezer right up. If you get one you get one. If not shoot does to fill your freezer up.
