By me, all the crops near my hunting spot were harvested and all ready plowed under so I don't know how this will change anything? Especially if they are plowed under

Had alot of movement this morning two small bucks chasing a doe crashing through every thing and they probably don't even know why they're chasing her lol they was only a year and a half old and watch a three year old scape in a few spots other then that nothing but hawks and eagles filling the sky.

This morning had a buck (a genetic pool enhancement buck) chasing a doe before coming by my stand. He was a 4x2 that still would have scored about 120, and I let him walk. This afternoon, I think it might have been this morning's buck offspring came by my stand at 7 yards. He was as ugly as this morning's buck and he walked. On my way out of the hunting ground, there were two hogs standing on the pond dam. Either would have gotten an arrow had they walked by my stand. That's all I saw.

Sat this morning. Not too much action. Saw 4 does and a buck. Didn't get a real good look at the buck but from what I saw he wasn't bad. I guess I will never know though! Also saw a ton of turkeys.

I'm hunting in the morning. i just don't have a good feeling about it. We'll see.

I normally see several deer on my daily work commute. Mostly in the evenings but some in the morning too.

This whole week I've seen none. Zero. Nada. I have no idea what's going on. Most the fields are picked, it's November, and I can't see one deer? I sat last Saturday and saw nothing. A buck made a scrape 20 yards from me an hour before first light.

Still moving at night for me too. Been out all day today and yesterday. One of my shooters was in front of my blind at last light last night, only I was not in it. I'm in it today and just had a small 8 walk by, all I have seen today.

Have not been seeing many does, or any deer driving to and from my lease. Think I seen one hit on the side of the road this morning and that's it.

Hey guys thought I'd introduce myself here. You can call me jj. All my sits hsve resulted in nothing either. In 2 weeks I've only seen a young six point and that's about it. Plenty late night around 10 or 11 pm on sides of roads though.

Some places are reporting rutting activity, but I'm not seeing it here in SE Iowa. Still mostly night time movement, bucks really not responding to grunts yet. Hope you get to feelin better Mark, good luck when you get to go hunting.

Just got back from Mount Ayr, saw 4 bucks, none responding to grunts other than looking around. Got a new buck on the property. Wide boy with a kicker. More to come.

Sat all day yesterday and in the morning today. Saw a lot of does and had a little fork pushing around some of those does. Also had another fork come by as well. Today was a little slow. I believe it was the high winds. Saw one funky 7pt that had a normal side and the other side was like a fork horn buck with a brow tine. I think it will start to pick up soon!

I really think the peak chasing will be this weekend. If it's not, I will be shocked.

Things are slowly starting to ramp up and it looks like temps and weather will cooperate, so it's all up to the wind. Sundays 23mph blasts were not appreciated.
