Saw a dandy of a buck on 20 just east of I35 just standing out on top of a grass field about 1130am not a care in the world. Made me wish I could get out this weekend. Other than that, about 8 fresh on the side of the road that wern't there the day before along 20. Good luck if ya get out!
I seen the biggest buck I've ever seen from stand today, easily 160, maybe bigger...10 point for sure and massive....came in behind me, crossed a little ravine, was about 50yds off to my back right, I was ready for him, needed him to turn left and walk 10 yds for a shot, 20 yds for a chip shot....he turned right and didn't look back at any calls i through at him....one of the most heartbreaking days of hunting I've ever had.... Congrats on the pups doepatrol! You did better than I did Wesley! Got out of work early got to my downed tree blind by ~230 and nothing. Not a darn thing but one squirrel, walked almost 1/2 mile and didn't even bump one.
Yea, but honestly I would have been happier not seeing him...now there is no way I can bring my self to shoot at something smaller, i just can't do it....why I didn't run cams this year, I didn't want to have to set a standard...but now.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
