Had a couple 2016 Recruits out for testing and couldn't wait to check the cards ... Weathers sucked with rain and fog but here's what I got ....
Really like those pictures. That wide angle lens on the other model sure bothered me, I like to see the animal as it is and not distorted.
To be honest ive falling in love with the wide angle once I found the sweet spot and am having a hard time readjusting back. No distortion after the first firmware update we did on those cams
For me it's the stretched bodies and antlers for the most part that I'd prefer the other way. I do like the amount of area the camera does cover though so I would still have some use for one with that type of lens. You know I'm all about the quality picture when it comes to these cameras even though I'm not going and framing each and every one of them LOL.
No doubt about it that's why I like this camera so much more now, glad they came out with it!! Kinda like white flash vs. IR or IR vs. black IR. Didn't mean to hijack the thread!
