Hey everyone just woundering if anyone had gone to the Iola car show in Wisconsin this past weekend. I go with a bunch of friends every year. If you didnt go and you like classic cars then you might want to look into this.Just woundering if there were any BH.com guys there.
Sweet 16, how ya been?? I get to a few shows every year but local for me. I have a 74 Vega wagon that I have been building for along time (kids got in the way) :D I have pro streeted it by stretching the rear fender openings to stuff Mickey Thompson 31X12.50 15" mounted to a narrowed Ford 9 inch rear with coil overs. I adapted S-10 balljoints, spindles and brakes to the front end to accept skinny tires on a 15" rim. The rims are center line. I have changed the body style from 74 to 71 also. I built a 357 small block that should be around 400 horse. still in the making but its fun working on it. glad to see your into classic cars.
Hey! I've been great! I would love to see some pics of that vega wagon. I have to tell you that i crossed over to a mathews z7 extreme also. Its in the mail being shipped but im excited to get it. My friend and i found a 72 plymouth satilite that we might buy and fix up. Its got a 360 block engine in it but its meant for a 315 so it shakes every time you start it up. I dont know if we are going to buy it but it sure would be a fun project. Hope everything is well. Sweet16
Congrats on the bow,,you will love it. very smooth, very fast and very quiet! these pics are old, ill have to update soon. Working on getting the body ready for paint hopefully soon. Recently built a custon lower steel valence for under the rear bumper and just got the rear hatch finished with help from my brother. shaved the recesed licenese plate bracket in the hatch as well as the lock. It will be solinoid operated now. good luck if you buy the car and have fun with it..
