Does anyone have one? And how big of an area does it cover? I have about three acres that need to be covered.

I have one on six acres that does a good job of keeping a lab retreiver in. I have had it in use for about 7 years. Requires some maintenance from time to time, but overall works really good.

I do. Works very well. I have had mine for four years with not one issue. The only time there is a worry is when there is lighting, for some reason mine will shut off. It beeps in the garage so I know. Then I reset after the lighting. I have a french brittany, small bird dog.

We had one for a while before we lost our dog. It worked great. If you don't take the time to train the dog properly immediately after you put it in you will have trouble. If you teach him to run back into the "fenced area" when he gets shocked so he is safe, you'll be pleased. If he ever figures out he can run through it and it only hurts for a second or two, you're screwed. He'll run whenever he wants to. It took our dog three years to figure it out. By then he was too old to run a lot anyway. He was ten years old when we moved to the house where we needed to use the fence.
