Hi, my name is Dave and I'm an outdoorsaholic. Love to hunt, fish, hike, camp. Also into trail camming, wildlife photography, metal detecting and falconry. Pretty much anything in the outdoors and I'm all about it. Loves beers and bonfires. Live in upstate NY, work for the local power company as a grid operator/ dispatcher.

My name is Tony Sorrento. I was born a poor black child. I am a blood bought, born again, child of God by His Grace and His Grace alone. I have a wonderful wife and 4 incredible children. I currently work with People Inc. as a Senior Financial Auditor ... aka, people fear me :D

My wife and I took in a just turned 11 year old boy who went through hell his whole life ...his father died when he was 4, his mother shot herself when he was 7... his sister and himself were bounced around 3 different families over a year because his evil grandmother didn't want them...grandmother finally took them in and she abused them physically, mentally and emotionally for 3 years ... I was running a private Christian school that Andrew and his sister went to (she had CPS called on here from the public school) and when the opportunity to take Andrew came, we grabbed it. We tried to get Hannah, but Grandma would not budge and sent her to a home for troubled teens. ... Grandma is now facing charges for keeping the money she got from SSI for Hannah while Hannah did not live with her the last three years.... ;) ... Andrew is now 15 1/2 and doing incredibly well. God has truly blessed us with this boy. There were some tough times in the beginning, but patience and much love prevailed, Praise :hail: God! We are going to Kentucky to visit Hannah who now lives with a youth pastor and his family and is doing wonderfully :)

I have hunted and fished all my life. I love shooting guns ... all kinds ... and I am a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment and I believe it to be outside of "time".

I love to hunt deer in any fashion, bowhunting being my favorite way. I love to hunt upland game and I love to cook and eat what I kill.

    My passions in order:
    1. The Lord Jesus Christ
    2. My Family
    3. Hunting
    4. Fishing

Now....what am I known for here on BH.COM .... the answer will very greatly with whatever member you ask ... let the new guys judge for themselves. The truth is ... I love and pray for everyone on here ...even Vito ;)

BH.COM and the other site it spawned from has played a huge part in my maturity as a bowhunter. I knever knew it could be easy to kill deer with a bow ... Dad was a gun hunter ... I was self taught. People like Rob/PA, Greg/MO, Brucelanthier, Tfox, Mobo, Rick James, Buckeye, Germ, Gri22, and GMMAT ( I know I am forgetting some) have schooled me on many different aspects of bowhunting ... for that I am forever grateful.

I have made life long friends on here ...some I have met, many I have talked with, even more I have shared texts with and a few I have hunted with. I love you guys....I would list all the guys and gals on this much bigger list, but I am afraid I will leave someone out...

I am outspoken ... of that I am sure no one would disagree with. I am still pissed about some members that have been banned ... but I have missed those that are still on ... so I thought this would be a good way to jump back on here ....

My name is Todd. Was introduced to hunting when I was around 12 (43 now) by my stepdad (father passed away when I was 3)

Got my first bow even before I was introduced to hunting. (Pearson recurve) mother dated a person that competed in field archery for a short while and this was when I got my first compound. Around 10 or 11 years old.

I didn't start shooting competitively until years later in 3-d and because I had learned alot on my own. I learned the wrong way to do just about everything. I later found a coach that taught me a load of stuff and I try to pass this knowledge along because I know how easy this sport can be as well as how difficult it can be.

I have been married to a very beautiful and determined woman for 20 years and have 2 kids. My daughter as maby know is a great dancer and a beautuful young woman. Deans list in college and dances on the dance team at her college. National champion in high school as well.
She has also killed a bigger deer than me. MY son is a great baseball player and started on the freshman team in high school as a 7th grader. He is a freshman now. He is a great shot with bow and gun and loves to hunt.

My name is Nathan and I'm a 37 year old married father of 3. I have 2 boys(19 & 11) and a daughter(6) that keep me pretty busy. My wifes name is Julie and I thank the Lord for bringing her into my life because while I'd never admit this to her I needed some reigning in. On that note I've been attending church a lot more the last couple of years and reading some scripture, not bible thumping or anything but for me personally I find it helps me with anger, frustration, and stress in general.

We spend time camping, sports(soccer/basketball), love the mountains here in VA as well as the beach, lots of other stuff, and overall I feel really blessed.

I enjoy this site and some others even though when I go back and re-read some of my posts I come off somewhat disgruntled or pissy. I don't mean to...I'm working on it. I overuse...and commas and also have a problem with run on sentences(but hey I'm no Germ or anything) jkG;).

When I'm not busy with work and raising churn I love to play golf, have some cold beers, fish(crab), and BBQing. I can usually mix having cold beers with all of those other activities so I'd say I'm a pretty good multi tasker. I have always liked photography and filming and try to get good pictures and family videos but it's never really been a hobby of mine but after seeing some of the high quality pics/videos our members here post it really makes me want to invest in a little bit of decent equipment and take it on as a hobby.

My biggest obsession has been and probably always will be deer hunting. I love it all bow, bp, shotgun, rifle, etc. If I had to pick my "favorite" I'd probably say bowhunting whitetails on the marshes of the Eastern Shore. I love hunting with my dad and kids or just spending time with the family at our small property in VA or the mountains near Lynchburg.

Hello, I'm Jerry...JGD and Dubbya's dad. I need a haircut really bad, and will get one some day. I live in Texas but home is Wyoming and I'm fortunate to go there two or three times a year to do the things I love; fish, hunt, golf and hang out with family. I love Jesus because he saved my life. I work as a supervisor in a probation office and in almost 24 years have never had a bad day at work. I'm blessed. A great wife, a great job and wonderful relationship with my son. All this and I get to go to heaven some day!

Oh ok. My name is Ken. I'm 41 but luckily very immature. I guess to sum up my past without too much detail is .... basically if there was a sport invented I've probably played it. Anything from ping pong to hockey. I have a wife and 3 wonderful boys that are my life! I have killed a lot of particular animals that happen to have a white tail. I absolutely love everything about bowhunting and it's an all year round adventure for me. Perhaps the coolest thing in the world is passing it on to your kids. Your priorities and where you get your enjoyment out of hunting change. NOTHING like the feeling of standing over your sons first deer kill! Anyway I own my own golf course in central NY now. Back when I was young and full of spunk I had a stint at competitive golf and came very close to the big stage (tour). An 8 foot lip out putt dictated otherwise. No regrets, I gave it all I had been to hell and back trying. Live a good life now and look forward to many days afield with my boys! Oh I still follow sports with a passion. If you debate sports with me just understand I'm probably right and will dazzle you with FACTS and statistics! My dream is Jerry Jones fires himself soon and the Yankees get out of A-rods contract. Other than that I still play golf (not to that level), love fishing, spend time on lake to relax, work my butt off during the season, play (hunt) hard in the off season, coach sports, run kids around to practices and games, do a lot of home improvement/remodel projects, like to cook, watch american idol, and have a beer from time to time.

I let my guard down. Did NOT research the back end of the deal! Do not EVER make a bet without knowing the possible ramifications of if the rare possibilty occurs that you lose. Very uncharacteristic of me. Maybe over confidence got in the way. Who would've thunk one of her favorite stores would have such an item. Truth be told.... could've been worse. Got off kind of easy when you look at the big picture. The statement "If I lose you can have anything you want from Mackenzie Childs" will NEVER come out of my mouth again. I guess seeing the prize of a new bow and week long hunting trip this fall clouded my judgement. However the bet is currently under protest under technicality. I'm don't think I have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the case, but will go down fighting.
