Long time whitetail bow hunter, new to forum. Have bow hunted whitetails since 1973, first 8-10 harvests were with recurve, now use compound exclusively. Tried a crossbow briefly, killed two deer. Too easy, no more of that till I can't pull a bow. Majority of archery deer hunting takes place in IN and IL where we have properties. Also enjoy firearms hunting and have traveled the country extensively and harvested quite a few different critters in a bunch of different states. Enjoy fishing, trapping and working on our deer properties as well. Hope I can keep doing this a good bit longer. Look forward to learning and possibly making a few connections.
