Sitting on my couch in the comfort of my house and reading your story......cool.

Easy for me to say, huh.

If anybody here read Outdoor Life, then this would make a good story, "This Happened to me". :p

Glad there were no trouble, just like they got scared away.

    Glad you're alright Rob.

I would have had to change boxers when I got home.

LMAO guys, rub her belly, :D Well Tonight she wasn't there. Thank goodness. I had my ears tuned and even stopped short of the spot tonight and, instead of the green light, I had the brighter white light! It was all good. :p

I agree! Glad it worked out for you, Rob. I was wondering when you would meet head to head with this 3 legged momma. It was almost inevitable.

When I was in Maine... supposedly hunting bears... but really just spending days in a tree staring at a lonely bait pile.. I wanted to see a bear so bad I didn't really care if it was one mauling me while I waited for the truck to come pick me up. ;)

    I enjoy the stories Rob.

WOW! All the texting about tripod and her cubs, I too wondered if something like this would happen. Thank God you came out of it untouched bud, but it had to have taken a while to get your blood pressure back to even a remotely respectable level! Guessing you're going to have to watch your step a lot more now.
