    Bear traps are the answer.

Yep. Unfortunately you don't have to look very far at all these days to see examples of that. :(

Funny thing is, i know of people who have done this legitimately while hunting. Cover a sock in Tinks 69 and cross your fingers.

I have seen this before, people in my area would fill a long tube sock with salt and hang them in the woods for a deer lick.

Do they also leave empty ammonia bottles around others hunting areas and drop hair clippings all over scrapes by someone elses stands?

From what I've heard from other people on other hunting forums It wouldn't surpise me If someone from a certain hunting forum Isn't trying to screw your stuff up. There's one hunting forum I visit here and there and I won't post anything from where I bear hunt or deer hunt, too many people from the area. A person shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that. Best of luck Scott!!

My suspicion is right or wrong............you would get a different answer on who exactly is the problem depending on who you asked.

I'm sure there are all kinds of sides to this story that are unknown at this point.

    My guess???

I am not sure what you are saying here.... But if you are implying that I have split personalities and I strew this stuff throughout just one of my multiple hunting areas... Well, you are stupid. :)

What was your point? All I said is if that is really what you think.... Than you are stupid. I see no correlation to your trapping comment.

    Goes to motive.....

That's sad, Scott. I always looked at it like this......

If it's a competition thing,......I always want to beat the guy I'm competing against....when he's at his best. Golf-wise......I always hoped you shot 68. I just wanna shoot 67.

The TRULY sad thing lost is all of this (sometimes) is......it's a "fellow" hunter doing this. No doubt of that, in my mind. I'll say it again....My "fellow hunter" rarely misses an opportunity to disappoint me.

That IS my point...........and you walked into it face first.

Yea, I'll bet there is an interesting spectrum of perspective on this story............depending who you ask of course ;)

This may come as a shock, but some people are just d|cks:D

Having talked and met Scott a few times, he's not the type to cause trouble. Now the other guy perspective might be he did because he got permission to hunt "his" land.

Scott has way to much class to act like a door knob to another hunter. It really hurt this wolverine to say that about a buckeye:eek:

Bingo!!............like I said already, who falls under that category in this case (right or wrong) would depend on who you ask I'm sure.

The same guy who just called me stupid and I watched tell a whole room full of guys over at HNI to F-off because someone said his rack score was off by a couple inches??

Perception is often much different then reality. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone or saying anyone is right or wrong. I'm guessing we have about 1% of the story to work with here............if there is a story at all.
