You should see our penthouse...and my pickup truck...rollin in it.

On a side note, as you know Trevor, my wife is also a pharmacist, so I certainly have a more favorable outlook toward pharmaceutical companies than most. From the little bit I've had my wife try to explain to me before I blank out from a medical terminology induced comma, cancer is such a complex disease, and many truly believe there really won't be a true cure to the disease entirely.

At the same time, I look at a lot of the diseases and health related issues that have been wiped almost clean from our population if not made extremely treatable.

I simply don't know enough either way truly know what the root cause may be (could be a little bit of both).

There seems to be quite a consensus about the genetic role of cancer from the little I've read. Early screening/detection might be our only true attempt toward thwarting the disease (and it HAS helped).

I was reading a medical journal about a month ago and it talked about using re-calibrating HIV into attacking cancer cells, simply amazing. The test was done on a young girl I believe. It was one of those last ditch efforts, and it worked. It seemed the side effects were pretty bad at the start, however a simple med used for arthritis was prescribed and the side effects subsided. Blows my mind.
