    Fronts would influence when I hunt more than moon phase.

    I have heard "temperature trumps moon" more than once lately. I would tend to agree with that.
    I have been out twice this season with unseasonably warm temps but a red moon (per the MoonGuide app) and the movement was less than stellar.
    At this point I put more stake into DeerCast than anything else...

    I have trying to track moon and I can't say I have found a correlation yet

    Agree, more to do with hunters being in the woods then deer moving.
    I pay no attention to the moon or the weather except to tell me how to dress and what way the wind is blowing.
    Everything revolves around the date, food and breeding.

    I have to disagree especially late season deer will be on their feet no matter time of day with an approaching front. Like I said late season with colder fronts the more activity. Once there is snow moon plays a bigger factor because night vision is improved.

    Cold weather snaps, especially in Oct, most certainly trigger deer movement.
