So I was at my brothers yesterday, I was looking over to his racks and mounts and I started to think... I saw at least one 4 point, 5 point, 6 point, 7 point, 8 point and 9 point.

    I thought it was intersting...

I was curious who here could put together the longest streak of antler point configuration counts from their bucks from over the years.

My consecutive streak of at least one buck per point configuration would be only four with at least one 7 point, 8 point, 9 point and 10 point. I could get to 6 if I get an 11 point one day though :deer:

    How does yours play out?

Ill have to check I am assuming I can use all my deer from over the years including rifle kills? Hanging on my walls are 3 10s a 13 and a 15. I bet if I go to the antler wall in the garage I may be able to go from a spike to a 10 point. The only one I am not sure if I ever shot was a 9 pointer. I will check and post back.

Kinda like you here buckeye 7pt-8pt-9pt-10pt

Now we can expand on the numbers

    7pt- 1 buck
    8pt- 2 bucks
    9pt- 1 buck
    10pt- 3 bucks

Now if I just had a 6 I could go from 2 all the way to 10, I am going to hunt a 6 this next season :deer: j/k I would rather work from the top up.

    I have 2 through 12 points (11 deer), I also have a 14 pointer. So, I need a 1 pointer and a 13 pointer to complete the streak from 1 to 14.

    If I had a 7-pointer, I could make it all the way from 3 to 12. :)

I've killed everything up to a 12 with the exception of a 9 pointer.

One weird thing is that I got an 11 and a 10 before getting my first 8. And the two 8's I have killed were both on trips far away from my primary hunting area. I still haven't killed an 8 (or 9) at my parent's farm where I have been hunting for 23 years.

I've killed spike's all the way up to an 11 pointer

I'm doing this from memory and some were gun kills.

    3-spikes
    1-spork
    4-forks
    1-5 point
    2-6 point
    1-7 point
    5-8 point
    1-9 point
    2-10 point
    1-11 point
I think that's it for Whitetails.

    I've got a 2,3,4,two 5's ,a 6, five 7's and four 8's. 9 and 10pts aren't as common where I hunt....just a lot of big 8pts.

Nope, not for me. I killed smaller bucks when I was younger and felt great about it. One has to gain experience. I have also killed some smaller 6 pointers within the last few years as well...and guess what, it was fun as heck!

    :)

Absolutely not, You cut your teeth on what you can. Plus anyone who has primarily hunted PA can testify that right or wrong the old school of thought was any buck is better than any doe.
