Jeff like was said earlier, he did ho hum so it is only preseason, if he would have blew up then everyone would focus on that as well.
are we seriously using fantasy football stats and rankings to decide where a player should be ranked as a QB in real life?
When you've played as long as he has it's inevitable (provided good health) that you are going to accumulate some impressive stats.
george blanda played til he was 46 as a qb mostly and never accumulated remotely CLOSE to those stats...
Just as an update, Favre is currently the #9 ranked fantasy QB in the NFL, and the 6th in QB rating. Who would have thought that when this thread was made, besides the OP ? Not to mention the 6-1 record, and 2 game winning drives. I rest my case (up till now :D)
At what point in the game did each player play? Jackson was throwing against 2-3 stringers, favre would have torn them apart, also.
I really didn't even give that game or the next one a thought. I don't get excited or down about anything that happens in the pre-season. It's PRACTICE...but I think you already knew that didn't you?
That's his record at the Metrodome as the visiting team. Why would that be surprising? The Vikings don't lose much at home to ANY teams in the NFL...why should the Packers be any different?
