The Lords ways are not our ways, we are far to inferior to grasp Gods Holyness. Faith is sufficient, Grace is a blessing, knowledge is a gift, digging up dirt is for archeologists, medicine is for doctors. The bible says ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you. Q&A is a good thing. Trying to be God is another, and denying Christ is a clear mistake. Everything has a beginning and an end. With the short number of years I personally have been given here, I have come to my own conclusions and found sound doctrine and real truth in the scripture. There have been and still remain multiple inexplicable events that have backed up any doubting I faced. No man will sway my relationship with Jesus and when it is all said and done, and the last arrow has been nocked I expect to have a place prepared in the Kingdom. All sinners are welcome...
Well I just have to say "You weren't there, you don't know" when they publish this research. Game over.
Nye's answer essentially was nothing as well because he knows as well as anyone you can't provide hard evidence of God. One thing I certainly agree with Nye on is that we should ALWAYS push towards new discoveries and develop a better understanding of the fields of science.
No, in your opinion he said "nothing". God is a very relevant and deeper response to some than it is to you.
How so? Explanation is simple, God didn't simply create the Earth without resources for his creation to utilize in it's future...otherwise it would be very apparent he doesn't love his creation. One could argue he designed the Earth exactly as it is knowing the future requirements for civilization...but I have no doubt he would prefer we made better choices along the way in how we treat his creation. The downfall of giving us freewill is some have chosen to turn from him, some have chosen to not...it's the great debate created by freewill placed in man by Him.
I am not saying this but I heard one time a gentleman say that is why he believes in God or a Creator "You cannot prove God doesn't exist...however there are discoveries which could be done that would prove He does exists or prove the Bible to be correct."
No he said "nothing" He said nothing could ever change his belief. That is just being willfully ignorant.
I believe this to be true as well, but can I ask how you know this? All aging techniques require the belief that the molecules tested all start at the same point when it comes to aging. The whole problem with both sides of this debate is people spewing stats/facts on topics we don't personally know much about.
No, Hamm is saying give credit where credits due. Don't keep trying to convince us that everything came from nothing and that our ancestors were really just slime on the bottom of the sea. How insulting is that to our creator? If evolution is real why is it humans are the only one that figured out how to make a fire to keep warm? Really very basic for the survival of many animals but they can't do it.
I'm glad that I'm hearing a lot of Christians trying to disassociate with Hamm. It was painfully obvious this entire debate was just a money grab for the Creation museum. I'm glad Nye took the debate as a platform to educate instead of trying to change beliefs.
