Tonight Bill Nye and Ken Ham will debate the topic "Is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern scientific era?" Since it's been discussed in many other threads here, I thought some may be interested. Here's a link to where I believe it'll be broadcasted. Click Here
I'm not sure, but it seems like it should be available somewhere on the internet at a later time. If I find out for sure, I'll post up the information.
I don't think the debate will sway the minds of people on either side of the line. I also think it will only assist in the further division of people just like politics. Einstein said "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
I missed it too last night. Here is the entire debate on Youtube. I plan to watch it this weekend. Click Here
This. Not something anyone can be swayed from on either side. I might watch it out of curiousity, though. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
I just read an article on it and it stated it seemed more like a lecture from both sides at times and was a very respectful debate. Should be decent to watch.
Holy ****, I just realized its 2 hours and 45 minutes long. I guess I'll have to watch it on the TV sometime.
Alright, I watched the entire thing. It was pretty predictable, as we all know it will be, but still pretty decent. I'm a little disappointed that each man didn't get a little time at the end for closing statements, I think it would have added a lot. Other than that, I won't comment on it until at least someone else watches it.
Just finished watching it. Mr. ham has some interesting views. Bill Nye did a better job than I thought he would.
I watched it live and I give Ham a B and Nye a C-. Point being as we've witness over the years, the atheist science guy all stick together and if you believe in God then your science/belief is null and void because your not one of them. Much like if you watch Fox news you don't know what is REALLY going on in the world. You have to get it from CNN or MSNBC. Ham preached at our church last year and I think he was being to nice to Nye and not calling him out on their guessing game. Nye came off as just another serial leftist from the west coast that thinks is all knowing because they think they've figured out parts of the Creators creations
The problem with a debate like this is 99% of people aren't going to go into it with an open mind. You, like many, already had your mind made up about who you were going to believe before you even watched it.
