Interesting dates of buck harvests

    My biggest bucks were killed on Dec.26 and Oct. 30. I have seen the most activity the last week in Oct- the first week in Nov. For me, that's the magic time to be in the woods.

    Not really noteworthy in a good way, but interesting nonetheless.

    I missed a buck this past season from the same stand, on the same day, within two minutes, and the deer was in the exact location (even facing the same direction) as my buck I shot the previous year. Creepy, huh?

    Oddly enough, exactly two weeks prior to that, I had missed another from the same stand (bad year last year, and I'm pretty sure I'll never be over it). Ended up killing an 8 point in December about 50yds from where this all happened.
